Campground Overview:

Aspen Campground on the East Fork of the Black River is a small campground shaded by Ponderosa pines and hardwood trees located streamside at a bend of the East Fork of the Black River. The East Fork meanders through the forested valley shaded by tall ponderosa pines and bordered by grasses, alders, and streamside hardwoods.

Campsites:

Aspen Campground campsites are located a few steps from the stream to protect the Black River’s unique riparian zone, but access to the river is easy as the undergrowth serves more to enhance the river’s picturesque nature than to obstruct easy passage. Sites are small and only a few can accommodate large motor homes or travel trailers. Six sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
