Northern Arizona

The Northern Arizona region encompasses the charming Prescott and Coconino National Forests which contain a diverse landscape of Ponderosa pine forests, vast mesas, alpine tundra, and ancient volcanic peaks. The region is capped off with Humphreys Peak, the highest point in Arizona. The main towns include Flagstaff, Prescott, Sedona, and Camp Verde.

 

It is no mystery why humanity has occupied this region of the world for thousands of years. This area contains the majestic forests of the San Francisco Peaks, the mesmerizing red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, and the far-reaching Verde and Prescott Valleys . Evidence of early human existence can be seen through the numerous Native American heritage sites scattered throughout the region.
